Every gathering has a story. This is mine.
It started at The Ritz-Carlton and honestly, that place ruined me in the best possible way.
As Public Relations Manager in Virginia, I learned that world-class hospitality isn't magic. It's intention. The way a guest feels the moment they walk into a room. The way a table is set. The way an event flows so naturally that nobody notices how much thought went into it. Great experiences don't happen by accident, they're designed that way, on purpose, every single time.
That lesson never left me. It just packed up and moved.
Over sixteen years ago, I reached out to William Heritage Winery with an idea for a wine dinner. One conversation turned into years of shaping tastings, wine club events, and member experiences that kept people coming back and not just for the wine, but for the way those gatherings felt. That's when I really understood it: the best events don't just run well, they make people feel like they belong somewhere.

In between all of that, I spent twelve years running my own celebrations consultancy across South Jersey and the Tri-State area, founded Interconnections for Women (a networking community for female entrepreneurs), and was publishing entertaining guides long before "downloadable event blueprints" was even a phrase anyone used.
I was just ahead of my time. I'll take it. 😄

Because here's the thing I've learned after all these years: gatherings aren't really about the food, the décor, or the perfectly timed timeline. They're about bringing people together in a way they'll actually remember. That's what I've spent my whole career doing.

The Personal Side
I believe every day is a celebration!
Not in a performative, Pinterest-perfect kind of way. In the quiet, deeply held belief that an ordinary Tuesday dinner, a spontaneous backyard gathering, or an evening with good friends and good conversation all deserve to be done beautifully.
My family and I are travelers, and not the resort-and-pool kind. We're the find-the-best-Irish-bar-nobody's-told-you-about kind. Wherever we land, I'm hunting down hidden gems, memorable meals, and gatherings worth being part of. That curiosity comes home with me every time, and it shows up in everything I make.
I gather people the way other people obsess over a hobby: constantly, enthusiastically, always chasing the next thing worth sharing. Tracking down a new restaurant before anyone's heard of it. Throwing together a backyard get-together with two hours' notice that somehow becomes the night everyone still talks about. Sometimes that means a finely crafted cocktail, sometimes a thoughtful mocktail, always the right sip for the right room.
